Angela Burson is an alumna of The Savannah College of Art and Design where she received her B.F.A. in Painting in 1991. She was born in Kansas City and grew up in Liberty Missouri. Angela has exhibited her work in Georgia, Florida, Missouri, New York, North Carolina and West Virginia. She currently lives in Savannah Georgia, with her husband, artist Greg Eltringham, and their two children.
My work is about People. I blend color and pattern with my interest in familiar objects. The subjects of my work include portraits as well as inanimate objects. I use objects with a sense of character or history. I like to paint family heirlooms and people from my yearbooks or photo albums.
